Role and Responsibilities:

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at Yacht, you’ll play a pivotal role in developing and sustaining products. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conceptualization and Design:Contribute to product development through specification, concept studies, volume control, interface definition, and mechanical design of components and subsystems.

  • State-of-the-Art Design:Utilize the latest design methods and construction principles to create innovative and technically feasible designs.

  • Bill of Materials Management:Maintain the Bill of Materials (BOM) in our database, adhering to engineering change process procedures, and collaborating with stakeholders.

  • Qualification and Testing:Drive the qualification of designs by specifying tests, designing test equipment, and overseeing prototype testing.

  • Documentation:Deliver technical product documentation required for the release of designs for volume production.

  • Collaboration:Collaborate with manufacturing teams to identify and implement improvements in integration processes.

Ervaring

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

  • 3-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical design.

  • Proficiency in construction and precise position principles.

  • Ability to translate concepts into practical designs that meet specified requirements.

  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling tools, preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter.

  • Mechanical tolerance calculations, with statistical analysis experience as a plus.
